Ecommerce Store
Purkeys sells trucking supplies online and has both simple and variable products. I converted Purkey’s old static HTML site to an ecommerce site. This required helping to get all their products, with each variable and all related resources, gathered onto a spreadsheet that could be mapped and uploaded into their website. I completely set up their store with all of their products, and have modified the sales page to match their branding. Guiding them through this process was very challenging!
Product & Category Pages
One challenging part of getting products set up properly is making sure their categories are set up correctly so they will drill down properly and the breadcrumbs will appear how they are intended. This requires making sure that the spreadsheets are in perfect order and mapped into the database accurately.
Product Features and Variable Selection
If a product has variables, they need to be able to be selected and the proper cost, dimensions, images, content, and related products for each individual variable, all need to show up where intended on the product layout page when the spreadsheet is uploaded.
