City Property Management

Website Development: HTML/Sass

The City Property Management Company (CPM) website’s primary function is to create an online presence and for SEO purposes. As a secondary function, the site provides information about the company, promotes its CityCync application, and allows access to portals for Homeowners and Board members. My part with the creation of this site was strictly development.  I was initially in charge of converting this site from a very old, non-responsive PHP site that was image-heavy (with the text in the images) to the current version. (An updated version is currently in development.)

MORE

One of CPM’s goals was to change the perspective of what a property management company is like. They truly are one of the best companies I have ever worked with or done business with. They are extremely responsive, friendly and caring and they want it to be known that they really are different than other property management companies. They tried to convey this in the images they selected and the copy they used. You will see lots of happy faces on this site.

Another concept that sets CPM apart from other companies is its application, CityCync that allows the user to electronically view their account, make payments, access documents, and report issues. They wanted to promote CityCync on their website and it is therefore placed on every page before the footer.

CPM is located in the Phoenix Arizona area and it was important to show all the areas they manage. Pages for each city/area were created for every location so that when one of those locations was searched for online, links to their company site would appear. The copy on those pages has long tail keywords in it which tend to have a higher conversion value since they are more specific.

CPM is involved in its community and has several programs that needed to be linked to from the main website. They have a scholarship available annually and wanted the application form available on the website.

They also have an Adopt a Classroom program linked to from their website (a very small separate site that I also got to build for them).

RESULTS

Overall, this site was a huge step-up from the previous site. It was responsive, removed all the text from the images, and promoted their company in a positive light. CPM was very satisfied with it and it worked toward their goals.
